Arvo Pärt Center OPEN CALL for Nordic-Baltic artists working in music

The Arvo Pärt Centre invites musicians from the Nordic countries, as well as Latvia and Lithuania, to apply for a paid residency at the Arvo Pärt Centre. The application period begins on 4 July and closes on 31 August. The residency is open to creative professionals working with music and sound.

The application period begins on 4 July and closes on 31 August. The residency is open to creative professionals (or duos) working in music – including performers, composers and sound artists – from Finland, Sweden, Norway, Denmark, Iceland, the Faroe Islands, Latvia and Lithuania.
The Arvo Pärt Centre provides four musicians with the opportunity to immerse themselves in an inspiring environment and create work specifically exploring the local cultural landscape and traditions. Projects may address ecological, historical or cultural themes.
The duration of the creative residency at the Arvo Pärt Centre is two months and takes place between November 2024 and May 2025.…
